What will I do for my career?

Marketing.

Do I sustain a serious brain injury?

No.

Will I have a moral bypass somehow?

No.

But I wanted a career.

That’s not a question.

Will it be my career?

Yes.

Will I be happy doing it?

Very happy.

My dad is a doctor. My mum is a psychologist. Is this a sick joke?

Mousketeer is a sick joke. I didn’t say you’d be a cheerleader.

My pen was poised mid-air. How could this be? There was something right about it, though. There was a truth to it. I could feel a glimmer of A-HA!

Am I still a good person?

Yes.
